My favorite place to photograph in is definitely the photo studio. I really can feel the blood rushing when all of the pieces of the puzzle fall together. Everything I need is nearby and I can fine tune every piece of image I had in mind. That's what I really love to do, to translate an idea on a piece of paper into reality. It's a place where creative minds can come together en brainstorm, have a cup of coffee or a slice of my homemade cake. Cheers to creativity!
I'm always in for a good read. So when the editor in chief of a fashion/photography magazine asked me to do an interview on beauty photography, I was happy to be a part of it. Modellenland Magazine is a monthly magazine wich focusses on photography in Belgium and The Netherlands. Emerging creative people as make-up artists, models and hairstylist get to talk about their work in interviews or can show what they do in editorials. Click here if you want to read the whole article! Have fun reading, I know I will :)
This month I'm featured with our 'Radiant Retro' story in Elegant Magazine, an American magazine about fashion and beauty. Our all-girls team was on a retro inspired vibe and our model Lynn gave her all in posing. You can see the whole series here. Take a look!
Meanwhile my closet is getting more and more filled with some very cool sweaters. And one brand that's Belgian and übercool is 'Pas N'importe Qoui' by Katrien Smets. In collaboration with this creative entrepreneur we gathered up with my all-girl team & shot Yaëll and Hanna wearing these fab sweaters made from organic cotton. Hurray for eco friendly design! Results are coming soon!
Special thanks to Valérie from TheAgent.be & their wonderfull models!
